The week before winter break, students, teachers and mentors at NOIC had brought Christmas online. A multitude of online festive activities had added colours and excitement to this year’s holiday season.
Apart from having a good time of online classroom fun, students from the Art Club had also made 200 Christmas cards for 192 senior residents at Mon Sheong Care Center bringing warmth to the community.
On Dec. 15th, 2020, teachers at NOIC were invited to attend the virtual seminar on “Enhancing Student Engagement” held by RCOSSE (Research Center for Online Secondary School Education) with NOIC as the event sponsor. The seminar had brought together educators, educational leaders and teachers in the field of online education from China, Canada, Argentina and around the world. It also provided exceptional opportunities and values for exchanging and sharing of recent innovations and best practices in improving student engagement in online learning and teaching.
