Ann Puntis was appointed Chief Executive of University of Cambridge International Examinations in November 2005. Ann has extensive experience in education and assessment. She obtained First Class Honours at Cardiff University and proceeded to research at the University of Oxford. She also obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cambridge and subsequently obtained an MBA. She has worked as a teacher in secondary education, as a Principal and as a policy-maker in national education. Ann joined CAIE in 1997 and has worked in a number of areas developing assessments and services prior to becoming Chief Executive. She obtained her MBA in 2000.
