The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at NOIC Academy — a rigorous, globally recognized two-year program earning both an IB Diploma and an Ontario OSSD.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a globally recognized two-year program for students aged 16–19. Academically challenging and holistic, it prepares graduates for university success by developing intellectual depth, social awareness, and personal resilience.
NOIC Academy fully embraces the IB's open-access philosophy — any student willing to commit and dedicate themselves to the programme is welcome to become an IB Diploma Candidate. Your ambition defines your path.
IBDP students at NOIC are simultaneously awarded Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits, giving graduates dual credentials recognized by universities worldwide. This arrangement provides students with more comprehensive and enriched educational experiences.
Higher Level vs Standard Level: HL courses require 240 teaching hours; SL courses 150 hours. Each student takes 3–4 HL subjects based on their interests and university goals.
Three core elements combined with six subject group choices — a broad, deep, and balanced academic experience that prepares students for the world's best universities.
